Not so 'lil anymore...

May 13, 2010.. preschool graduation.. Brooklyn sucessfully attended all but one day of preschool this past year and did a outstanding job. Mom and Dad were so proud!! This poor lil girl likes to stay up way to late, we seemed to never get her in a routine  and so as things go she stayed up way to late the night before her graduation.. poor thing was onstage doing all her nursery yawning after what seemed like every line. She knows her ABC's, can count to 100+, learned all her nursery rhymns and is so ready and excited to go to kindergarten.

Saturday following her graduation, our lil girl had her 5th Birthday Party.. Her theme this year was all about the crawfish. This girl loves them mud bugs.. Can't get enough of them. This was my first attempt at a crawfish bowl, and I can successfully say it turned out not so bad.. Could have used a lil more heat, but I'm always critical on my own cooking.

Brooklyn had all of her close friends out for a lil slip 'n slide at Grandma's house right before the weather turned ugly.. Thank goodness for Disney's Princess and the Frog on hand to keep the lil ones entertained, followed by cake and ice cream..
